The first HP Tablet Windows 8 will tend to target the consumer rather than business segments. These tablets will not use the Windows operating system Microsoft has announced that RT.
RT is a Windows version of Windows 8 designed specifically for tablets and other devices that use ARM processors. HP will not rule out the option to adopt ARM-based tablets, but said the Windows tablet will first focus on the business segment.
"HP continues to seek ways to use ARM processors in the product in the business and consumer segments. However, our first tablet Windows 8 will use the x86 platform is focused on business segments," said HP as preached PC World, Sunday (07/01/2012) .
