NASA Launches New Application for iPhone & iPad - 
CALIFORNIA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has released a new application for the iPhone and iPad Touch. Companies engaged in the field of space it claims that NASA App 2.0 includes several new features and redesigned interface that allows users to explore and get content from the NASA property.
Reported by International Business Times, Tuesday (05/22/2012), formerly, the first version of the iPhone and iPad applications NASA contains excellent features that allow users to get information and pictures on the planet. In addition, users can also obtain information on objects in the solar system.
Not only that, the application also allows users to get the latest news and featuring stories about the solar system through NASA's tweets and live streaming of NASA TV. Now, NASA has enhanced its free online application that supports the IOS platform.
Reportedly, approximately 4.7 million people have downloaded the application is made by a team of NASA's Ames Research Center based in Moffett Field, California. Application development team says that there are new features in 2.0 such as NASA App weather forecasts, maps, information and links to all the visitors center of NASA.
In addition, the application also allows users to perform storage, printing, accessing favorite item and tag pictures. The development team said, NASA App 2.0 requiring the iPhone and iPad with IOS version 5 or later.
"This is our first redesign of the NASA App for the iPhone since its initial release in 2009. We are very excited about this release and we think users will like the interface and new features (in this application)," said NASA Project Manager App, Jerry Colen.
