'Find Nearby Friends', New Features Facebook - 
Facebook was quietly launched a new mobile features. With this new feature, users can find and add new friends while attending events or locations without having to find their friend's name first.
Find Friends feature called Nearby it requires users to log-in to the platform FFN (Friends Find Nearby) Facebook. TechCrunch reported, this new feature has not been officially announced, but is now operating in IOS and Android devices, as well as over the web.
When asked for comment about the new features, Facebook shut up do not want to disclose it further. "We continue to test new features, but for now can not share," said a Facebook spokesperson, as quoted by Cnet, Monday (06/25/2012).
Meanwhile, Facebook engineer Ryan Patterson told TechCrunch that he originally created these features with other technicians for the project. "For me, the use of this product is ideal untu when you are traveling with a group of people you just met and want to have their contacts," said Patterson.
"Search Facebook may be effective to do so, but this tool provides a very easy way to exchange contact information with several people through minimal means," he added.
This new feature comes two months after acquiring Glancee Facebook, an application of location-based "social discovery" is designed to connect users with friends in the real world.
This feature was originally called "Friendshake" and can also be accessed via a URL, which stands for "find friends nearby" (http://fb.com/ffn). This feature is a new step up to continue its mobile reach, by creating new services to meet new people, rather than building more connectivity with people who have known.
