2013, Nokia in Vietnam Start Manufacturing Operations - 
Nokia says that the manufacturing facility built in Vietnam is ready to operate early next year.
"Located in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park in Bac Ninh province, the manufacturing facility was developed dilahan 17 hectares. Nokia factory started operation early 2013," Nokia said, as quoted by Business Line, Monday (23/04/2012).
"The new plant is built to meet the growing demand and help the company to deliver a mobile experience that is contemporary with the billions of consumers around the world," he added.
According to Executive Vice President of Nokia Mobile Phone, Ms. Mary McDowell., Nokia factory will produce and provide exciting new tools and affordable.
Nokia took the step to Vietnam after a restructuring and cost cutting. Previously, in order to target the Asia-Pacific markets, the Finnish mobile phone maker has also moved its plant in Singapore to China.
